Students' online textbook is History Alive: The United States Through Industrialism
In the early months of 5th Grade, the students will be studying the causes leading up to the American Revolution, the Declaration of Independence and its significance, and the events, characters and battles that reveal the "story" behind the history of this critical time.
They will be asking - and answering - important questions such as, What ideas are worth fighting for?, and, When is it necessary for a citizen to rebel against his/her government?
